I had to take a break from all the fun because I came down with a bad cold. Yesterday I spent most of the day in bed and watched some TV to pass the time. I did find one of my favorite movies on - McClintock. But all the English is dubbed into Italian and John Wayne just ain't quite the same as I remember... They even have re-runs of the original Star Trek over here. Even though I've seen every episode 5 or 6 times, I still can't figure out what the heck Captain Kirk is saying in Italian. But he still gets to kiss all the girls.
Nicole did all she could to nurse me back to health with fresh squeezed orange juice and lots of tea. It helped some and I was able to drink a little wine with dinner. Perfecto!
Starting my Italy adventure at Luca's bed and breakfast was a great decision. They have not only been great hosts but now have become wonderful friends. And since I've been here I have also met 2 sweet girls from California, a lovely couple from Cincinnati Ohio, a wonderful couple from Columbia, South America and yet another lovely couple from Canada. Every night has been a great one as we sit around the kitchen table and share life stories.
I found Luca's B&B on the web site www.airbnb.com and I highly recommend the site to all travelers!
